All costs and accommodation details have been emailed to you. Please let us know if you
have not received or misplaced the email and we will forward it to you.

HOW DO WE BOOK/PAY FOR THE ROOM?
All payments can be made directly to the hotel at checkout on Monday 3 June 2023. No
advance payments are required.

ARE THERE OTHER ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS AVAILABLE?
Yes, there are a lot of Air BnB options and hotels in Assisi. However, if you are not staying
with us at the Castello you will need to organise this yourself as well as transport to and from
the venue (see transport for further information). The venue is approximately 10 minutes
away from Assisi by car.

CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
We are looking to have an adults-only ceremony and reception, but appreciate a destination
wedding can be tricky, so get in touch if you plan to bring your little ones along (babies are of
course very welcome).

WE ARE PLANNING ON DRIVING TO THE VENUE, IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE VENUE? 
Yes, there is plenty of free parking at Castello di Petrata for all guests.

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND I WEAR FOR THE WEEKEND?
We ask that you dress in formal attire for the wedding ceremony and reception. The dress
code for the Friday welcome dinner will be smart casual. Otherwise, it will be summer in Europe, so we suggest comfortable summer attire. The temperature will be around 24-26°C during the day, and around 14-16 °C in the evenings. There is a pool and hot tub, so we strongly suggest bringing swimwear for the recovery Sunday. We are outdoors for most of the weekend, and there will be grass and cobblestones, so please bear this in mind for footwear choices.

WILL FOOD AND DRINK BE INCLUDED AT PETRATA?
We will be providing dinner and drinks on the Friday night and afternoon aperitif, dinner and
drinks on the Saturday. Daily breakfast is also included for all overnight guests (including
glampers) at Petrata. Breakfast is served each day from 8am to 10.30am and is continental buffet style. There are corners with homemade desserts, cold cuts, eggs, salad, yogurt, muesli and much more. Espresso, Americano, cappuccino and other hot drinks are available. Throughout your stay the bar and restaurant will be open (lunch and dinner with a light menu) and you will be able to order what you want and pay directly. There are also many other local restaurant and take-away options as well as grocery stores close by in Assisi. 

WILL THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
The welcome dinner will be held in the garden and both the ceremony and dinner on the big day will be held outdoors (weather permitting). The after-dinner party will be indoors.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GET TO PETRATA?
Castello di Petrata is centrally located 13 mins from the Assisi Railway station (which receives transfers from Florence and Rome), or 25 mins away from the Perugia Airport

(direct flights from London).

DO YOU HAVE A GIFT REGISTRY?
We really appreciate the time and expense that celebrating with us involves and therefore,
there isn't a wedding registry and there is no need to bring a gift. However, if you really
wanted to bring a gift, there will be a wishing well on the day. Kindly note that physical gifts
will be difficult for us to travel with.
